Vangelis Andreopoulos was born in Athens (Greece) in 1971. He studied painting & etching at the Athens School of Fine Arts from 1991 to 1996.
During the academic year 1995 – 1996, he studied painting and etching at Royal Academy of Art The Hague (KABK Den Haag) under I.K.Y (State Scholarships Foundation).
He has exhibited his artworks in many exhibitions. In 2011 he participated with the Greek mission in the art exhibition «Art en capital», salon «Société Des Artistes Indépendants» at Grand Palais, Paris.
Some of his artworks belong to private collections in Greece, Belgium, Luxemburg, Russia. He also has a big experience as an art tutor as he has been teaching painting and drawing for seventeen years. From 2000 to 2017 he taught at AKTO Art & Design College (Partner of Middlesex University of London) in Athens. Additionally, he taught photography and photo editing using Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Lightroom at the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation (Adult Education Programs) from 1998 to 2017. Moreover, he worked as an illustrator at the Greek newspaper «Elefterotypia» from 1998 to 2011.
Since 2017 he has been living and working in Moscow as a tutor of painting and drawing at the British Higher School of Art & Design.
